There have been rumor us in past several months that Apple may drop 3.5mm headphone jack in its next iPhone,it is likely iphone7 and iphone7plus.this company is likely to launch both Bluetooth headphones and headphones with lightning connectors as a part of major change in terms of design in the new iphone.
jaybird cheif marketing officer said that shifiting from 3.5mm headphone jack to lightning connector-based headphones will still compress and decompress audio "but enhances the music quality"
According to him,"there will be some kind of adapter in the iphone 7 box"that will enable using of wired heaadphones with Lightning port.
