Jio Ambani effect:Airtel, vodaphone to revise their rates shortly
Bharati Airtel and vodafone in seperate presentations to their retail vendors,both companies questioned jio chairman promise of 1GB data for just 50rs is trash and said that jio infocomm is offering 1GB for lowest rate of 65-67 and not for Rs50 as mukesh ambani stated.
It also said that voice users should spend minimum of Rs149 and data users Rs499
Airtel further termed jiotariff as "just a marketing gimmick",as if offers lowest data rates in the country and operates in the country offering 1GB data for Rs50.
hence its impact is huge and lets wait and see how the other digital companies make their own strategy to stop switching over to rival Reliance Jio Infocomm's network which is offering free voice callings and data at dirt cheap rates.
